Here I am sharing my views on I.A.Richards Figurative Language with the example of the Gujrati Gazal
 'Kari De'

ધારે તો સ્ક્રીનપર એ તમને જ ફીટ કરી દે.
ધારે તો મૂળમાંથી તમને ડિલીટ કરી દે.

જાણે છે એમને જે, તૈયાર સૌ રહે છે
કોને ખબર એ ક્યારે કોને રીપીટ કરી દે.

મોકલ હજુયે મોકલ આનાથી ઘૂંટ કાતિલ
પીનારનો ભરોસો એનેય સ્વીટ કરી દે.

અવગણ નહી તું એને ક્ષણને વિરાટ પગ છે
બે ચાર સ્ટેપ મૂકે તારી લિમીટ કરી દે.

શંકાની ન્યાત આખ્ખી હંમેશ ફ્લોપ ગઇ છે
ટાણુ એ સાચવી લે, શ્રધ્ધાને હિટ કરી દે.

દેખાય ધૂંધળું તો લ્યો આ ગઝલને પહેરો
દ્રષ્ટીનો ભેદ ભાંગે, દ્રશ્યોને નીટ કરી દે.
