Q-1 What is Archetypal Criticism? What does the archetypal critic do? Ans -  The term “Archetypal” means, a literary device, an archetype is a reoccurring symbol or motif throughout literature that represents universal pattern of human nature. It can also refer to the original model on which all other things of the same kind are based. “Archetypal criticism” means denotes recurrent narrative design, identifying pattern of action, character types, themes, and image in literature as well as in myths, dreams and even social rituals. Q-2  What is Frye trying prove by giving an analogy of ' Physics to Nature' and 'Criticism to Literature'? Ans -  Northrop Frye prove that " Physics to Natuer" and " Criticism to Literatuer" because physics is a systematic and organized study of natuer , basically science is only study of natuer similarly criticism is a systematic and scientematically study of literatuer, because we learn criticism not literatuer...

Here I am sharing my views on I.A.Richards Figurative Language with the example of the Gujrati Gazal  'Kari De' ધારે તો સ્ક્રીનપર એ તમને જ ફીટ કરી દે. ધારે તો મૂળમાંથી તમને ડિલીટ કરી દે. જાણે છે એમને જે, તૈયાર સૌ રહે છે કોને ખબર એ ક્યારે કોને રીપીટ કરી દે. મોકલ હજુયે મોકલ આનાથી ઘૂંટ કાતિલ પીનારનો ભરોસો એનેય સ્વીટ કરી દે. અવગણ નહી તું એને ક્ષણને વિરાટ પગ છે બે ચાર સ્ટેપ મૂકે તારી લિમીટ કરી દે. શંકાની ન્યાત આખ્ખી હંમેશ ફ્લોપ ગઇ છે ટાણુ એ સાચવી લે, શ્રધ્ધાને હિટ કરી દે. દેખાય ધૂંધળું તો લ્યો આ ગઝલને પહેરો દ્રષ્ટીનો ભેદ ભાંગે, દ્રશ્યોને નીટ કરી દે. – કૃષ્ણ દવે Analysis: In thi Gujrati Gazal poet want to Use Figurative words like : સ્ક્રીન,ફીટ,ડિલીટ,રીપીટ,ફ્લોપ,હિટ Problems in understanding the lyrics: >> How to fit in the screen? >> How can delet it from the root ? >> How to make poision sweet ?                     Thank You :-)
